Groundswell Listen Up reporting (2021/2024)

Miles spent three years as a rookie reporter writing and publishing over 60 articles on various issues surrounding homelessness, addiction and recovery support, social exclusion, stigmatism, systemic disadvantage and abject poverty.

Together, with an ever expanding team or regional reporters sharing their own communities experiences of homelessness, we built up a fantastic repository of knowledge on what people face, before during and after a period of being homeless. We were also fortunate to link in with Groundswell’s Health Teams in creating hints and tips, where to access medical intervention whilst homeless which were pocket sized, easy to read which people fedback were more helpful than being offered a ‘link to tap’.
